Starting off their musical careers as protégés to American hip-hop producer Kutmasta Kurt (collaborator with Beastie Boys, Kool Keith, Linkin Park), Rushden & Diamonds’ Michael Rushden and Lord Diamonds first got their start making beats and writing rhymes in the late 2000’s. The duo’s early productions would soon launch them from a home studio in Vancouver, to rocking main stages at festivals throughout the world. Best known for their fantastical tongue-in-cheek wordplay, Rushden & Diamonds’ music has been featured in SEGA and PlatinumGames cult classic video game Anarchy Reigns, as well as in The Wonderful 101’s Remixed OST. Now in 2024 Michael and the Lord return to release an impeccably postured new album entitled: Formal Leisure. Stay tuned for the lavishness.
